Lamborghini SC18 Alston: the One-Off for Road and Track

21 November 2019

Lamborghini Squadra Corse and Centro Stile have designed the unique (in every sense) SC18 Alston, the stunning specimen one-off type-approved for the road and made to master the track. Why? It was the desire of one of our customers…

EXTREME AERODYNAMICS

Racing elements such as the front hood, air intakes inspired by the Huracán GT3 EVO, sides and rear featuring fenders, fins and airscoops bringing the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO to mind. Large carbon fiber wing with three mechanical adjustments able to generate optimum downforce on any circuit, twelve air intakes on the rear hood able to increase heat exchange and improve the cooling of the V12 engine. Is more extreme aerodynamics even possible?

PERFORMANCE OF A TRUE RACING CAR

The beating V12 heart of the SC18 Alston delivers 770 CV and a torque of 720 Nm, all handled via the ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) optimized seven-speed gearbox. Ultralight materials and new carbon fiber body significantly reduce weight to enhance performance, elevating it to that of a true racing car. This culminates in the rear with exhausts and terminal uniquely designed – also in terms of sound.

DETAILS THAT ENHANCE SPORTINESS

Carbon fiber body in Grigio Daytona (gray) with visible details and red screen-printing, single nut wheels, 20” on the front and 21” on the rear, with specially developed Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires and a telemetry system to measure all aspects of performance on the track. Pure dedication to the most elevated sporty look – and feel! In fact, the cockpit features interiors in Nero Ade (black) Alcantara with cross-stitching in Rosso Alala (red) and carbon fiber bucket seats.
