Urus SE is the next step in Automobili Lamborghini’s journey toward complete hybridization. As the first PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) version of the luxury Super SUV, the SE sets a new benchmark for the whole segment in terms of comfort, performance, efficiency, emissions, and driving experience.

EXTERIOR

The design of the Urus SE features even sportier proportions compared to its predecessors. The updated lines optimize aerodynamic efficiency, enhancing the new PHEV Super SUV's rear downforce and cooling performance.
The revised design highlights the dynamics of the vehicle’s form, accentuating the clean and muscular character of the aesthetics. New elements include the new floating bonnet, headlight clusters featuring matrix LED technology, a reviewed bumper and front grill, a new rear diffuser, and a completely redesigned taillamp grille inspired by Lamborghini super sports cars such as the Gallardo.
A vast range of customization options is available for customers to enhance their Urus SE’s extraordinary character.

INTERIOR

The interior design of the Urus SE embodies Lamborghini’s “Feel Like a Pilot” philosophy, enhancing the interaction between the driver and the vehicle’s digital system. Lamborghini Centro Stile focused on accentuating a lightweight feeling, with elements such as anodized aluminum trim details and new panel and dashboard coverings. The cabin features new solutions throughout the front section of the dashboard, and the technology is even sharper and more intuitive, with a new version of the Human Machine Interface (HMI) and a dedicated telemetry system included in the Lamborghini Infotainment System (LIS).

This is achieved through the incorporation of electric performance strategies, which can be combined with driving modes to create optimal driving conditions.

New Powertrain ICE + Electric

The new Urus SE is powered by masterpieces of innovation, and thanks to its two hearts, it produces stronger emotions than ever before. The acclaimed twin-turbo 4.0 V8 engine has been re-engineered to work in perfect synergy with the electric motor. The permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor acts as a boost for the V8 combustion engine and as a traction element, giving the Urus SE all it needs to travel more than 60 km in Full EV. 

The system output of this new hybrid powertrain is staggering: 800 CV, a 3.4-second acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, and a top speed of 312 km/h. The combination of the iconic V8 engine and the innovative e-motor makes Urus SE the most powerful Lamborghini SSUV ever, setting a new benchmark for the entire category.

Aerodynamics

Urus SE has undergone a complete aerodynamic upshift for maximum efficiency. 

The new rear diffuser and aero lip work together to increase rear downforce by 35% at high speeds, enhancing the vehicle’s stability. Additionally, new underbody air vents and revamped air ducts improve cooling performance by 15%, channeling more airflow to cool the mechanical and engine components. Brake cooling has been enhanced by 30% due to the redesign of the front section and the optimization of the aerodynamic underside.

HMI

The Urus SE cabin is designed entirely with the driver in mind, featuring new solutions to enhance Lamborghini’s “Feel Like a Pilot” philosophy. The interior showcases a new version of the Human Machine Interface (HMI) – featuring a larger screen (+2.2”) with a more intuitive interface, updated graphics and a new layout inspired by the App Management section in modern smartphones. Through the HMI, drivers can control all Urus SE features by swiping along the Endless Carousel found on the new Center Display.

The updated look of the HMI in Urus SE is consistent with the all-new Lamborghini Electrified Range feeling, which made its debuted on Revuelto.

Strada, Sport, Corsa, Sabbia, Terra, and Neve can be paired with EV, Recharge, Hybrid, and Performance for a total of 11 different combinations to get the most out of the hybrid powertrain of this extraordinary SSUV.
