Combined energy consumption: Combined fuel economy: 16 MPG

Two giants from the Bologna area have come together for the safety of motorcyclists. Automobili Lamborghini collaborated with Ducati during the trial stage of a motorbike-car connectivity system developed by the motorbike manufacturer.

Ducati ran simulations between their motorbikes and a Lamborghini Urus, analyzing the three most critical accident cases and concluding that communication between vehicles integrated with onboard sensors could help reduce the number of accidents.
The effectiveness of the connectivity system and the simulated cases were recently presented at the Demo Event organized at the Lausitzring race track by the Connected Motorcycle Consortium, an international association of leading motorbike manufacturers that aims to improve the safety of motorcyclists through connected mobility.

Together, Lamborghini and Ducati created a dedicated video to demonstrate the effectiveness of the motorbike-car connectivity system. You can watch it below.
