Lamborghini Squadra Corse announces the arrival of Romain Grosjean as official Factory Driver with Iron Lynx.

2023 will be a year packed with challenges for the versatile Franco-Swiss driver. In addition to participating in the GT campaign, he will play a key role in developing the Lamborghini LMDh project.

A Formula 1 driver for nine seasons and winner of many single-seater titles, Romain Grosjean has also taken part in different GT competitions, winning a race on his debut in the FIA GT1 world championship to then race the latest seasons in the IndyCar Series.

His debut as Lamborghini official driver will be at the 24 Hours of Daytona behind the wheel of a Huracán GT3 EVO2, managed by Iron Lynx. Grosjean will also join Caldarelli and Bortolotti as test driver for the LMDh car, with which he will race in the FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship in 2024 together with the same Lamborghini team partner Iron Lynx.

Determination, enthusiasm, and personal involvement emerge from the words of Romain Grosjean when he talks about next year’s program and Lamborghini, saying it is “such an iconic brand for everyone who loves cars, including myself and my children.”

In welcoming the Geneva-born driver, Lamborghini Head of Motorsport Giorgio Sanna also declared his enthusiasm, stating he is impatient “to see Romain on the track in Daytona” and “hopes this can be the beginning of a hugely successful partnership for the future.”
