The first vehicle deliveries in Japan created the perfect occasion for Lamborghini to present the Countach LPI 800-4 in the country for the first time, with an exclusive event held at Warehouse TERRADA, a renowned art complex in Tokyo.

The presentation was attended by 90 local press members who had the opportunity to interview prominent figures from Lamborghini Asia and Lamborghini Head of Design, Mitja Borkert. The journalists also had the chance to admire the modern Countach side-by-side with one of its predecessors—a Countach 25th Anniversary from 1989. The two cars then roared through the streets of Tokyo for dedicated photo sessions in the most iconic settings of the Japanese capital city.

The premiere of the Countach LPI 800-4 in Japan is very special: this car and this country share a bond that stretches through time. Lamborghini’s Countach has fascinated the Japanese audience to such levels that it has been featured in the pages of manga since the early ‘70s. The car even had its own manga series: in 2004, mangaka Haruto Umezawa published a series titled “Countach,” which comprised 28 volumes and told the story of a young man whose childhood dream was to own a Countach LP 400.

Now, with the first units being delivered, brand-new Japanese owners have made their dream of owning a Lamborghini Countach come true.
