2018 Record-breaking Year with 5,750 Vehicles Delivered

Automobili Lamborghini set a historical record in 2018. With 5,750 new vehicles delivered worldwide compared to the 2017 figure of 3,815, the company achieved an unprecedented goal. It was the eighth year in a row of growth for the Sant’Agata Bolognese company, ending with a 51% rise in global sales. This exceptional result was due to a new record set by both V10 and V12 super sports car models and was bolstered by Urus’ success with the first 1,761 units being delivered since July 2018. 

“It is an even more significant success if we consider that we took on an exceptional dual challenge: to constantly introduce new models and technologies to the super sports car market while at the same time doubling the production capacity of the Sant’Agata Bolognese headquarters,” said Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Stefano Domenicali.

Lamborghini is a global brand and the distribution of sales set new historical records in all three of the major regions. With 1,595 vehicles sold, the USA proved to be not only the number one American market, but also the leading market at world level, followed by the United Kingdom (636) and Japan (559).
