Lamborghini’s Highlights from Monterey Car Week

19 8月 2019

The limited-edition Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster, a tribute to "36 Hours of Florida" victories with the Huracán EVO GT Celebration, and a unique Aventador S interpreted by US street artist Skyler Grey were two of a stunning array of super sports car revelations at this year’s Monterey Car Week.
To further enhance the magical atmosphere of the Lamborghini world in the midst of the exclusivity of the pinnacle of automotive events, The Lamborghini Lounge Monterey welcomed Lamborghini owners, VIPs, influencers and friends to an immersive brand experience. The luxurious villa outpost hosted a dedicated Ad Personam customization room, live sketching by the acclaimed designers of the Centro Stile and an array of Italian culinary delights. Showcasing the full lineup of vehicles on display, including the Huracán EVO and EVO Spyder, The Lamborghini Lounge Monterey also presented special-edition unveilings.  At the end of an extraordinary weekend, a special class dedicated to the Lamborghini Miura called precisely “Group N – Lamborghini Miura” was presented last Sunday on the Concept Lawn of the famous Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The Best in Class award winner was the 1972 Miura SV owned by FIA Chairman Jean Todt, followed by the 1968 Miura P400 once owned by the Shah of Iran in second place, and the 1968 Miura P400 used for the introductory scene of the movie “The Italian Job” ranking third.
The first and third place winners underwent total restoration lasting 14 months and partial restoration that took 6 months, respectively, both carried out by the Lamborghini Polo Storico.
