It is an Aventador SVJ Roadster in Grigio Acheso (gray) with Rosso Mimir (red) livery and Ad Personam interiors in Rosso Alala (red) and Nero (black) Aventador No. 10,000. In this way Automobili Lamborghini is celebrating an important goal with its iconic V12 model.
The Aventador range made its debut in 2011 with the Aventador LP 700-4, a coupé version model that immediately became a new benchmark for the super sports car sector owing to the introduction of new technological solutions.
From its “single shell” type of innovative carbon fiber monocoque – which combines the cockpit, floor and roof of the car in a single structure – to the new high-performance V12 engine with its 700 CV of power at 8,250 rpm, the goal is to go beyond the very concept of performance. The ISR robotized transmission guarantees thrilling ultra-fast shifts and the push-rod suspension system offers driving precision comparable to that of racing cars.
The Roadster version presented in 2012 creates a unicum in the world of open vehicles, with its exclusive technological package and its roof built totally in carbon fiber, using different technologies including RTM and Forged Composites® that ensure maximum rigidity and aesthetic impact while remaining extremely lightweight.
In that same year, at the Geneva Motor Show the exclusive Aventador J was unveiled, a 700 CV two-seater “open” sports car without roof and the classic windshield. It was type approved for road use and was a one-off destined for one lucky enthusiast of works of art that are unique in the world.
With the Aventador Miura Homage, a special edition of the Aventador Coupé presented in 2016, Automobili Lamborghini paid tribute to the legendary Miura in the year of its 50th anniversary and 50 units were made.
The Lamborghini Aventador S was introduced in that same year. The “S” denotes an evolution compared to the previous models. It is, in fact, a masterpiece of engineering designed to gain power and improve performance, which sees the emotion of driving amplified by four-wheel drive, new active suspension, a four-wheel steering system and the new EGO driving mode.
In 2018 the Aventador SVJ was introduced. It is a combination of advanced technology and an exceptional aerodynamically-oriented design. It set the track record for production vehicles on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife circuit after completing the 20.6 km lap in just 6:44.97 minutes. Only 900 units were produced. A special edition of just 63 units, the SVJ 63, was also built to pay homage to the year Automobili Lamborghini was founded.
Lastly, the Aventador S by Skyler Grey, presented in 2019, is a unique specimen in which Lamborghini’s automotive art melts with pioneering technological solutions. The artist Skyler Grey used the main techniques of street art to personalize the car body in the shades of orange and yellow, to bring life to an actual street legal work of art on four wheels with the support of the Lamborghini team.
