Transitions
The Sepang International Circuit is home to the Malaysian MotoGP, but also hosts other motorsport competitions. It was founded in 1998 in a strategic position 30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur in the Sepang district, close to the international airport. The track is situated within a state-of-the-art complex, with hotels, golf courses, karting tracks and stores. The 5.543-km track comprises two super fast 900-m straights, 11 equally fast turns and four relatively slow ones. In addition to the challenging braking, there are also real environmental challenges: the high temperatures and high humidity.
