Transitions
The Fuji International Speedway opened in 1965 in the foothills of Mount Fuji in Japan. The track configuration has changed over the years and is currently 4.563 km with 16 turns. The region’s very humid and rainy climate often affects the smooth running of competitions. The circuit currently hosts endurance events, but in the past has also been home to four editions of the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix and two motorcycle Grand Prix.
