Urus Meets the Australian Outback

Back

[[ formattedDate ]]

Urus, the world’s first Super SUV, concluded its tour around the world with an exclusive presentation at Sydney’s newest and most unique cultural venue. Industrial chic, the Cutaway showcased Lamborghini’s SSUV alongside other members of the House of the Raging Bull, such as Aventador S, Huracán Performante, Countach, Miura and Huracán Spyder, in a below-ground concrete space framed by beautifully lit raw and imposing walls. The premiere was made all the more unique by the spectacular Laserman Experience in the spirit of technology expressionism: blades of laser light were manipulated right in front of the guests’ eyes with a combination of complex 3D volumetric effects.

Oceania is also thus adding a new niche to the luxury segment thanks to Urus’ multi-faceted personality with benchmarking power, performance and driving dynamics, unparalleled design, luxury and daily usability. Urus is a Lamborghini with luxurious space for up to five occupants, with overhangs that communicate its strength, muscularity, dynamically assertive character and commanding road position.

"The Lamborghini Urus is a visionary approach based on the infusion of Lamborghini DNA into the most versatile vehicle, the SUV. The Urus elevates the SUV to a level not previously possible, the Super SUV. It is a true Lamborghini in terms of design, performance, driving dynamics and emotion as well as drivable every day in a range of environments," said Stefano Domenicali, Automobili Lamborghini Chairman & Chief Executive Officer. "The Urus fits perfectly within the Lamborghini family as a high performance car. It is the culmination of intensive development and passionate skill to create a new breed of bull: a Super SUV that transcends the boundaries of expectations and opens the door to new possibilities, for both our brand and our customers."
