Automobili Lamborghini renews its commitment to the DESI project for the fifth year in a row. As of November 3rd, 2022, twenty-four students from two high schools in Bologna will attend a six-month training program at the Lamborghini headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese.

The DESI (Dual Education System Italy) will allow participating students to develop technical and professional skills through theoretical classroom education at school and situational learning within Lamborghini. The initiative is a wonderful opportunity for Lamborghini to not only invest in education but also ensure the presence of qualified technicians within the Motor Valley region.

“We are very pleased with the success of this training program,” says Umberto Tossini, Chief Human Capital Officer at Automobili Lamborghini. “At such a critical time for the future of our country, the strategic alliance between public and private entities creates real opportunities for personal and professional growth for our young people.”

Forty-five percent of the hours in the curriculum of the “Maintenance and Technical Assistance” course offered by DESI comprise activities at Lamborghini’s training center. At the end of the program, students will receive official certification of the skills they’ll have learned from some of the best automotive professionals in the world.
