NBPA Players Learn Personal Branding at Lamborghini

29 June 2018

Six players from the National Basketball Players Association visited Lamborghini’s headquarters as a conclusion of the three-day program created by the NBPA International Business Academy in partnership with SDA Bocconi School of Management. This training is one of NBPA’s initiatives aimed at supporting the players and helping them focus on branding in the global economy.

Lamborghini was the exceptional setting where players could learn more about business in the field. The tour of the Urus, Huracán and Aventador production lines was followed by speeches by Stefano Domenicali, President & CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, and other Board members, which provided insights on how the House of the Raging Bull became the high-end company it is today by focusing on the concepts that players can apply to the marketing and branding of their own personal ventures.

In return, the NBPA players taught the Lamborghini Board how to team up and shoot a basketball on a court set up along the edge of the Urus line, and showed them how team building is at the heart of success when working towards a common goal, whether in sports or at the corporate level.

National Basketball Association guests included Karl-Anthony Towns from the Minnesota Timberwolves, Tarik Black from the Houston Rockets, Gary Harris from the Denver Nuggets, Jarrett Jack from the New York Knicks, Donatas Motiejunas from the Shandong Golden Stars and Damjan Rudez from AS Monaco.
