For almost 30 years now, Monterey Car Week has played an increasingly significant role in Lamborghini's history. What began as an opportunity to celebrate one of the brand's most important markets has evolved alongside the event itself. Today, Monterey Car Week stands among the world's most relevant automotive gatherings and has become one of Lamborghini's most ideal global stages, where the company unveils its latest innovations to enthusiasts, collectors and media from around the world.
Lamborghini's Monterey journey began in 1998 with the presentation of the Diablo SV Monterey Edition, a special series created exclusively for the occasion. Since then, Monterey Car Week has accompanied every major chapter of the brand's evolution, hosting the debut of groundbreaking production models, visionary concept cars and highly exclusive Few-Off creations.
Over the last decade in particular, Monterey has become a defining appointment in Lamborghini's calendar, consistently hosting at least one Lamborghini world premiere each year. Among the most significant unveilings are the Concept S, Aventador LP 750-4 SV Roadster, Centenario Roadster, Aventador SVJ Coupè and Roadster, Countach LPI 800-4, Urus Performante, Lanzador concept, Temerario and Fenomeno.
From naturally aspirated V12 icons and the Super SUV to visionary concepts and today's hybrid super sports cars, Monterey Car Week reflects Lamborghini's relentless pursuit of innovation while remaining true to its unmistakable DNA of bold design, technological excellence and authentic driving emotion. Looking ahead, the event continues to provide the ideal stage for Lamborghini to present the next chapters of its evolution and its vision for the future.

Looking ahead to the 2026 edition, Automobili Lamborghini will once again use Monterey Car Week as the stage for its latest innovations. Headlining this year's programme is the world premiere of the first derivative of the Revuelto, the latest evolution of Lamborghini's V12 HPEV super sports car. During the same weekend, Lamborghini will also unveil the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage, a special series of 99 examples created by Ad Personam and Lamborghini Centro Stile to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Miura, the world's first super sports car. Both premieres continue a tradition that has made Monterey Car Week one of the defining milestones in Lamborghini's history.
Diablo SV Monterey Edition (1998)
The 1998 Lamborghini Diablo SV Monterey Edition is one of the rarest special editions in the Diablo series. This exclusive version was created specifically for Monterey Car Week and combines the raw V12 performance of the Diablo SV with distinctive design elements and collector appeal. Only 20 units were produced.
Lamborghini Concept S (2005)
The Lamborghini Concept S is one of the brand’s most radical concept cars. Unveiled in 2005, the one-off vehicle was technically based on the Gallardo but dispensed with a traditional windshield and separated the driver and passenger with a central bulkhead, much like a fighter jet. Inspired by open-top race cars of the 1950s, the Concept S is powered by a naturally aspirated V10 producing around 500 hp.
Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV Roadster (2015)
The Aventador LP 750-4 SV Roadster brought Lamborghini’s Superveloce philosophy into open air. Combining a naturally aspirated 750-hp V12 engine with reduced weight and enhanced aerodynamics, the model delivered uncompromising performance together with the emotional experience of open-top driving. Production was limited to 500 units.
Lamborghini Centenario Roadster (2016)
Presented in the year marking the 100th anniversary of Ferruccio Lamborghini’s birth, the Centenario Roadster combined extreme aerodynamic efficiency with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine producing 770 hp. Rear-wheel steering, active aerodynamics and an extensive use of carbon fiber made it a showcase for technologies later adopted across the Lamborghini range. All 20 units had been sold prior to the vehicle’s official premiere.
Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and SVJ 63 (2018)
As the most extreme expression of the Aventador, the SVJ combined a 770-hp naturally aspirated V12 engine with all-wheel drive and Lamborghini’s Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) system. In 2018, it gained international recognition by setting a Nürburgring Nordschleife production car lap record with a time of 6:44.97 minutes.
Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster (2019)
The Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster celebrated the founding year of Automobili Lamborghini, 1963, through an exceptionally exclusive series. Based on the SVJ Roadster, it featured the same 770-hp V12 engine together with active aerodynamics and all-wheel drive. Unique color combinations, extensive carbon-fiber details and bespoke finishes distinguish this highly sought-after limited edition.
Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 (2021)
The Countach LPI 800-4 reinterpreted one of Lamborghini’s most iconic models for a new era. Combining the unmistakable design language of the original Countach with hybrid technology derived from the Sián, the model pairs a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine with a 48-volt electric motor for a total output of 814 hp. Production was limited to 112 units, a tribute to the original Countach project designation, LP112.
Lamborghini Urus Performante (2022)
The Urus Performante elevated Lamborghini’s Super SUV concept to a new level. Powered by a 666-hp twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the model benefits from weight reduction measures, revised suspension settings and enhanced aerodynamic efficiency. The result is an SUV with a distinctly performance-oriented character, capable of delivering driving dynamics inspired by Lamborghini’s super sports cars.
Lamborghini Lanzador (2023)
With the Lanzador concept, Lamborghini presented its vision for a future all-electric 2+2 GT. Combining elevated ground clearance with all-wheel drive and a target output of over one megawatt, the concept introduced a new interpretation of Lamborghini performance while maintaining a strong focus on driver engagement and emotional design.
Lamborghini Temerario (2024)
The Temerario marks another significant step in Lamborghini’s electrification strategy. Replacing the Huracán in the brand’s product range, it introduces a newly developed twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with three electric motors. The resulting plug-in hybrid powertrain delivers extraordinary performance while embodying Lamborghini’s commitment to technological innovation.
Lamborghini Fenomeno (2025)
The Fenomeno represents Lamborghini’s latest interpretation of the few-off philosophy. Combining a striking design language with an advanced naturally aspirated V12 hybrid powertrain, the model embodies the brand’s pursuit of performance, exclusivity and innovation. Limited to only 29 examples, the Fenomeno further reinforces Lamborghini’s ability to create extraordinary collector vehicles that look toward the future while celebrating the brand’s heritage.
