The Shakedown of the Countach LP500 gave the Lamborghini collector who commissioned it the chance to experience firsthand the exhilarating driving emotions brought by the recreated 1971 Lamborghini Countach.

The event was held at the circuit of Vizzola Ticino, kindly provided by Pirelli. It’s the same location where the recreated Countach underwent final test drives before being officially presented at Villa d’Este.

The Shakedown allowed the LP 500 to be touched and admired by its new owner, as well as by the suppliers who, in collaboration with Lamborghini Polo Storico, spent countless hours on the incredible automotive feat of recreating the 1971 Lamborghini Countach from files and documents alone.

“The tests and the shakedown confirmed that, other than gorgeous, the Countach is fully functional,” said Giuliano Cassataro, Head of Service and Polo Storico. “We thought it was important to celebrate the vehicle with the client and to share the incredible emotions with everyone who has invested hours of their work on its realization.”

Until November 15th, the Countach LP 500 will be viewable live in an exhibit at the MUDETEC Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese.
