Huracán EVO Spyder: photo story of a trip through the Alps

6 September 2019

Huracán EVO Spyder was born to combine the emotions of the Lamborghini V10 with those of the breathtaking panoramas that can be admired while driving with the top down. Dutch photographer Dennis Wierenga created a diary in images of his journey to discover the Alpine beauty that surrounds the ancient passes between Italy and Switzerland.

The journey begins from Lake Como and its terraces, where the expanse of water nestled between the mountains is the backdrop for the car with its aerodynamic lines. The journey continues through the hairpin curves of the cobblestone road of the ancient St. Gotthard Pass. Driving slowly around every bend of the ancient pedestrian road, the comfort of the EVO Spyder and the open top allow you to enjoy the spectacular views that open onto the Val Tremola. The final stage, before returning to Sant’Agata Bolognese, is the Lai da Sontga Maria lake in Switzerland. Filled with the emotions of driving the Spyder along the mountain roads, you reach this enchanted spot on the Lukmanier Pass. Here, everything is still, as if crystalized by a thick blanket of fog that envelops the road that runs along the dam. The Verde Selvans green of the car shimmers against the flat background of fog, and when the fog parts you get a glimpse of the peaks of the Swiss Alps, with all the wonder and pleasure of having reached a stunning new destination in a one-of-a-kind experience aboard the Huracán EVO Spyder.
