Fuel consumption and emission values of AVENTADOR S COUPE - Fuel consumption combined: 12 mpg
[[ formattedDate ]]
The most iconic model from the House of the Raging Bull bows to the heritage of the legendary Miura, Islero, Countach and Urraco and evolves into the new Aventador S Coupé.
An extra 40 HP have been added to its mighty V12 engine, the beating heart that drives the Aventador, boosting its overall power to 740 HP. And with the new LDVA system, or Lamborghini Active Vehicle Dynamics, handling all this power was never more thrilling, as the system combines 4 active technologies – capable of controlling the dynamical axles of the vehicle to determine the best driving mode for the specific conditions at that precise moment. Like the new 4 Wheel Steering system, a unique combination of the front wheel (Lamborghini Dynamic Steering) and rear wheel (Lamborghini Rear-wheel Steering) steering systems, delivering a superlative dynamic performance. Thanks to this system, the rear axle steers in the opposite direction to the front axle at low speeds, resulting in a virtual reduction of the wheelbase and so superior agility and an unbeatable cornering performance. Conversely, at high speed the two axles rotate in parallel: this generates a virtual increase in the wheelbase for superior stability and total control of the vehicle.
All of this power is supported by a new set of Pirelli P Zero tires developed specifically for this model. Designed to optimize steering, traction, lane changes and braking efficiency, these tires guarantee constant maneuverability and an excellent response to the input from the driver, making the active technology systems even more effective. The result is an absolutely perfect, safe and convincing performance at the wheel.
The new design also underscores the character of the Aventador S Coupé with the new lines increasing its dynamic, elegant and aggressive personality, but most of all helping to pack an even more exciting performance. Each surface was studied to improve its aerodynamics. Compared to the first Aventador, the new elements in the design enable an increase in the front downforce by 130%, whereas the new side air intakes reduce turbulence, improving cooling and increasing efficiency.
But the interiors are what add an extra element to this icon: luxury. The finish makes use of the highest quality materials and offers an infinite variety of possibilities in addition to a new design for the instrument panel.
An infinity of new features hidden behind an “S”.
