Lamborghini and The Italian Excellence Code
Automobili Lamborghini has launched The Italian Excellence Code, a new three-part film project starring award-winning Italian actor, writer, and director Stefano Accorsi. Born in Bologna near the home of super sports cars, Accorsi embarks on a thoughtful voyage of discovery to identify the elements defining Made in Italy excellence.
The film series investigates the concept of italianità, exploring how design, culture, and manufacturing intersect to create something unique to Italy. Across three distinct thematic chapters, Accorsi observes moments of Italian life to unpack the core components of the excellence code: taste, ingenuity, and flair.
The journey begins in an Italian piazza, where everyday interactions and environment reflect the nuanced choices of design and color that constitute taste. The exploration continues with the sport of fencing, demonstrating how precision, movement, sportiness, and technical know-how combine to form ingenuity. Finally, through the world of opera, the project examines flair, showing how performance, passion, and original drama give voice to Italian excellence.
