Petersen Automotive Museum showcases Huracán GT3 EVO

30 сентября 2019

The Huracán GT3 EVO race car from GRT Grasser Racing (#11) is being showcased at one of the biggest automotive museums in the world, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, through October 31, 2019 to commemorate the two consecutive years of triumphs at the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring.

“We are honored to showcase our triumphs within the halls of a renowned establishment such as the Petersen Automotive Museum,” said Alessandro Farmeschi, Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini Americas. “Lamborghini has blazed the trail as a newcomer in the motorsports arena, becoming the first manufacturer to claim such an achievement since the GTD class was introduced in the IMSA racing league. These historic wins are not only important in the chapters of our racing endeavors, but also for our customers who experience the transfer of this motorsports technology in our lineup of super sports cars.”

Developed entirely in Sant’Agata Bolognese by Squadra Corse, Lamborghini’s motorsport division, the Huracán GT3 EVO boasts a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine derived from the latest generation of the road-going Huracán sports car. It is primarily made of aluminum and reinforced carbon fiber, with a new roll cage that extends to the rear for an increased aerodynamic load to further improve stability.
