Aventador SVJ was given the “Best of the Best” award in the supercar category of the prestigious annual contest set up by Robb Report, proving to be one of the most innovative and powerful vehicles on the 2019 automotive scene.
The SVJ is the car that made the 6:49:97 record on the Nürburgring. The fastest of all road cars made this time on the German circuit even before making its world debut. “Pulling off a new record at Nürburgring was an important target for this project from the very beginning,” explained Stefano Domenicali. “While looking at our tradition we wanted to give the latest Aventador model an extreme orientation.”
With its 770 CV natural ispirated V12 engine, the ALA 2.0 active aerodynamics system and the four steering wheels, the Superveloce Jota version of the Aventador won over the judges owing to its breathtaking performance also on snow and ice, and for its road holding that gives the driver full control even during drift.
