10,000 Huracán in four years: A Milestone

[[ formattedDate ]]

Lamborghini Huracán number 10,000 has rolled off the assembly line. This achievement, which marks a production milestone for the V10 model, is celebrated while paying homage to the Lamborghini’s GT3 victory in this year’s 2018 Daytona 24 hours race. In fact, this Huracán Performante in Verde Mantis, now on its way to its new owner in Canada, is painted in the same color as the winning #11 Huracán GT3 that conquered the 56th edition of the world-famous endurance competition at the Daytona International Speedway in January.

In 2017, Lamborghini confirmed its growth for the seventh consecutive year, with a delivery record of 3,815 cars around the world, including 2,642 Huracán models (+12% over 2016).
Besides featuring in motorsports with the Huracán Super Trofeo and the Huracán GT3, Lamborghini’s V10 model is produced in six breathtaking derivatives: the record-breaking Performante, the open-top Performante Spyder unveiled this month at the Geneva Motor Show, and the four-wheel and two-wheel drive versions in both Coupé and Spyder configurations.

A total of 14,022 units of the Huracán’s predecessor, the Gallardo, were sold in its 10-year glorious production run between 2003 and 2013. Four years after the launch of the Huracán, figures once again corroborate the extraordinary growth prospects of the House of the Raging Bull.
