Innovation Takes Center Stage at "Lambo Day"

19 März 2018

Lamborghini welcomed over a hundred graduate students of the School of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Bologna on “Lambo Day”, a day dedicated to identifying the synergies between the students’ wishes and the needs of the Sant’Agata-based company.
Automobili Lamborghini and the Alma Mater, which have a long history of excellence in common, signed the Framework Agreement to confirm their synergetic and structured collaboration concerning placement and training (already launched thanks to the Motorvehicle University of Emilia-Romagna MUNER), research and innovation.

Stefano Domenicali, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Lamborghini, who welcomed the students together with the Rector Francesco Ubertini, said, “We at Lamborghini build today’s cars already thinking how those of the future will be, aware of the enormous challenges facing the automotive world and with the objective of continuing down the road of excellence. We are therefore proud of being able to work together with an institution as prestigious as Alma Mater, with which we share a passion for innovation and quality, which prepares the professionals of tomorrow every day in an exemplary fashion.”

During “Lambo Talk”, a round table discussion during which the students had the opportunity to listen and ask questions, Chief Manufacturing Officer Ranieri Niccoli, Chief Technical Officer Maurizio Reggiani and Chief Human Capital Officer Umberto Tossini were interviewed by Prof. Eugenia Rossi di Schio, Representative of the Rector for placement in the workplace.
In front of the Terzo Millennio, the concept car that those present were able to admire close up, presentations on Manifattura Lamborghini and the challenge of the super sports cars in electrification were afterwards given. The experience inside the world of Lamborghini ended with a tour of the assembly plants and the Museum.
