LAMBORGHINI ITALIAN TOUR 2015
Drive a Lamborghini and experience the real Italian lifestyle as you travel through beautiful scenery along a combination of country roads and highways.
Because of the great success of our Tuscany Tour, we have decided to extend this year's route to include a new location in Italy. As always, the pleasure of driving a Lamborghini through beautiful scenery is combined with a luxurious experience of the Italian lifestyle.
Two separate tours through Piedmont and the Langhe area will be held on consecutive weekends. The first tour will start on Friday, September 4 and end on Monday, September 7. The second is scheduled to begin on Friday, September 11 and conclude on Monday, September 14.
Lamborghini enthusiasts will meet at the Boscareto Resort & Spa in Serralunga d'Alba, where attention to detail is evident at every turn. This hotel offers a fusion of comfort, beauty, culture and the finest cuisine. The next day, the convoy will leave for Turin on an extended day drive to discover the beautiful Piedmont region through its Langhe area. After an halt in the famous Superga BASILICA they will proceed towards the Reggia of Venaria Reale. In the afternoon, the itinerary runs through the hilly region of Langhe, along a mixed route of country roads and highways. In the evening, participants will have dinner in the Factory of the wine producer Fontanafredda, at the famous restaurant Guido.
The next day, the route leads toward the land of fine automobiles, with a morning drive through the splendid scenery of Monferrato. Next is a visit to the historical underground cathedrals in Canelli, which have been designated a UNESCO Heritage Site because of their unique character.
The convoy will then reach Parma along a combination of state roads and highways. Participants will stay at the exclusive hotel located close to the the Barilla Centre, one of the world's most innovative examples of industrial architecture, conceived by famous Italian architect Renzo Piano.
With its geographic position, history and fine gastronomic tradition, the Province of Parma is one of the most characteristic areas in Italy. Today, Parma still has the appearance of the small town it was for a very long time. The city has a special feeling you can sense while walking its streets and observing its elegant lifestyle. In the XVI Century, it became the capital of the Duchy of Parma and Piacenza, which was ruled by the Farnese family. Important landmarks and famous painting schools were founded during this time.
On Monday morning, the convoy will leave for the Automobili Lamborghini headquarters, for a visit to the museum and factory. Inaugurated in 2001, the Lamborghini Museum displays the important milestones reached by the company: the Murciélago, Miura S, 350 GT, Countach S, Jalpa, Espada, Sesto Elemento, Reventón and the other exclusive supercars that have turned the House of the Raging Bull into a legend.
