50 collector's postcards for 50 years of Lamborghini, the third presented at Schloss Bensberg Classics 2012
Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, 10 September 2012 - Automobili Lamborghini is distributing 50 exclusive postcards in as many international events, which will form a collection illustrating the history and values of the brand producing the most extreme super sports cars in the world for nearly 50 years. Each postcard, created in Italy and produced in an extremely limited edition of just 200 hand-numbered examples, will depict the most emblematic details, moments and models of the Sant'Agata Bolognese-based Company. The postcards are presented in a framed collection with Lamborghini's 50th Anniversary logo in the center. The particularly limited production of this edition means it is already an extremely rare collector's item in great demand all over the world.
The first postcard was distributed at the 14th Trofeo Antonio Renati, held in Bobbio, Italy, from July 28-29, with numerous figures from the world of design present. These included Giampaolo Dallara, the engineer who conceived the chassis of the legendary Miura, and Filippo Perini, native of the town and Chief Designer for the Lamborghini Centro Stile. The distribution of the second coincided with the official unveiling of the 50th Anniversary logo at The Quail, in California, during the Monterey Classic Car Week.
Lamborghini took part in the fourth edition of the Schloss Bensberg Classics from September 7-9. This extraordinary setting has seen the third postcard in the collection handed out, a mirror-like image representing the two best-loved Lamborghini models, the Miura and the Aventador, two vehicles which represent the state of the art of their own time. Only few lucky presents were able to receive one of these precious collectibles.
The fourth series will have its appearance at the Gran Premio Nuvolari 2012, which will take place in Mantua in September 21-23, where Lamborghini will attend with the wonderful 350 GT.
