The tour's arrival at Forte dei Marmi, one of the world’s most important and enjoyed tourist destinations on the Tyrrhenian coast, will be celebrated with dinner at the legendary club La Capannina di Franceschi, famous above all in the sixties as a hang-out for the rich and famous and for hosting stars such as Édith Piaf, Paul Anka, Abbe Lane, Xavier Cugat and the Platters.
The Grand Tour then moves on to Rome: the Eternal City with its artistic and archeological treasures, splendid horizons and majestic villas and one of the best-loved tourist destinations in the world. The stay here will be capped off with dinner in the Complesso Monumentale di Santo Spirito in Sassia, a charming Renaissance cloister dating back to 727 AD.
The parade will then continue through the wonderful village of Orvieto before stopping for lunch at Il Borro in San Giustino Valdarno, the historic hunting reserve of the Ferragamo family. Setting off again for Bologna, it will pass through the 1,000 m Futa pass in the Apennines, made famous by the Mille Miglia.
And here in Automobili Lamborghini's home province, the cars from the House of the Raging Bull will take center stage with the Concours d’Elegance scheduled for the morning of 11 May in Bologna's main square, Piazza Maggiore, before setting off in procession for Sant'Agata Bolognese. Here a gala dinner rich in surprises awaits guests, closing the celebrations of 50 glorious years in unforgettable style.
